              WHITE STATION 2009-2010

Head Coach Jesus Patino formerly of Haywood County and in his fifth year at White Station will try to repeat as Division AAA State Champions and vie for a 6th title for the school since the late 99-00 season to go along with 2 runner ups. The Spartans have one of the best postseason records in state history and have a tall order to sustain. Memphis signee Joe Jackson (6'1 - 170 lbs.) will lead the Spartans with his dynamic play and scoring to go along with a strong supporting class. Sophomore Marvin Williams (6'8 - 250 lbs. diamond in the rough), junior Nino Johnson (6'8 - 220 lbs. diamond in the rough) and senior Jordan Miles (6'6 - 200 lbs.  diamond in the rough) will anchor the middle just as good as any other team in the state. Senior point guard and heralded football player Julian Burton (5'10- 190 lbs.) will solidify a solid backcourt. Another senior with great point guard skills is Harry Green (6'0 - 185 lbs. diamond in the rough) who will contribute accordingly.

High profile players place you in major nationwide tournaments starting with the Pepsi Shootout (Nov. 28) on the beautiful campus of Southeast Missouri (SEMO), Warren Central in Warren, Kentucky on Dec, 12. Then they travel to Houston Texas for the first annual John Lucas Holiday Explosion at  the M.O. Campbell Center. The Spartans for the sixth time visit (winners of 4)  Springfield, Missouri for the 26th annual Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions at JQH Arena, home of Missouri State. They finish off their travel schedule with a game on January 23, 2010 in the Hot Bed Classic against Hillcrest, Alabama at New Albany, Mississippi and a visit to New Jersey for a televised game.

Junior Andre Hollins (6'3 - 190 lbs. diamond in the rough) will contribute handily all season long as one of the starters to keep an eye on. Senior Brian Bullock (5'10 - 170 lbs. diamond in the rough) will supply valuable minutes accordingly.
